About the role
167 Solutions is recruiting an experienced Independent Financial Adviser for a directly regulated family office with strong longevity in the market and a healthy pipeline of prospective and existing clients.
The firm provides relationship-led advice across investments, pensions, retirement planning, protection and wider wealth requirements. This is an opportunity to operate with genuine autonomy while benefiting from established compliance, administration and professional-introducer support.
You will manage clients through the complete advice journey, build enduring relationships with individuals and families, and identify opportunities to coordinate advice across the wider family office proposition.
Key responsibilities
Complete discovery, fact finding, cash-flow discussions, risk profiling and ongoing suitability reviews.
Advise across pensions, investments, retirement planning, protection and relevant tax-efficient solutions.
Develop long-term relationships with individuals, families, trustees and professional introducers.
Prepare and maintain accurate, compliant client files and suitability documentation.
Work collaboratively with paraplanning, administration and compliance colleagues.
Manage annual reviews and ongoing-service commitments to a consistently high standard.
Identify appropriate cross-referral opportunities across mortgage, insurance and family office services.
Uphold FCA principles, Consumer Duty and the firm's client-first standards.
What they're looking for
Current or recent UK independent financial-advice experience.
Strong technical knowledge of pensions, investments, protection and retirement planning.
A demonstrable record of compliant advice and positive client outcomes.
Excellent relationship-management, communication and commercial skills.
Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of a client portfolio.
Strong organisation and attention to detail across advice and review processes.
Chartered status or progress towards it is advantageous but not essential.
