About the role
167 Solutions is recruiting an experienced AWS Cloud Engineer to join a global financial technology environment, supporting business-critical enterprise applications and cloud infrastructure.
You will work with engineering and operations teams to maintain high-availability AWS environments, improve automation and support continuous integration and deployment.
The role is based fully on-site, five days per week, in Dublin city centre. The day rate is €550, indicative, and the contract duration is to be confirmed.
Key responsibilities
• Manage and support AWS cloud infrastructure across production and UAT environments.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure automation using Terraform and AWS CloudFormation.
• Support Linux and UNIX systems alongside Java Spring Boot applications.
• Manage CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
• Troubleshoot messaging platforms including IBM MQ, ActiveMQ and JMS.
• Resolve incidents and maintain infrastructure availability.
• Automate operational processes using Python, Bash and PowerShell.
• Work with GitHub, Jira and ServiceNow.
• Use Generative AI tools to improve DevOps productivity and automation.
• Participate in an agreed out-of-hours support rota.
